About This Course

During this course we will show you how to create a generic chart. You are free to draw whatever you want in a generic chart and it offers some level of integration in the Mavim database.

The generic chart is integrated with the database in the following ways:

• The generic chart will be stored on the topic you selected when creating it.
• Shapes in the generic chart can be manually linked to topics in the tree structure.
• The generic chart can create topics and relationships in the manager based on the shapes it contains.

We will also explain several use cases for generic charts in the Portal and also how to import a generic chart.
